Ask just about any person in the area where you can find the best "arroz" (rice) and they will tell you to go to the Venta Cueva del Gato. The rice is made to order by the owner and cook, Isabel, who, along with her family, have been providing delicious home-cooked food for more than 30 years.

The restaurant has a warm fire in winter and air conditioning in summer

Isabel's sons Franciso and Miguel, who run the restaurant and bar are proud of their wine cellar. They are constantly searching for quality wines from all regions of Spain, including La Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Jumillia, Ronda, Jerez, and Malaga.

Mains include rice, hake, swordfish, sea bream, rabbit, meatballs, steak, veal, pork loin, lamb chops, venison, partridge and pheasant(in season). Starters: gazpacho, lentils, various soups, salads, prawn or asparagus tortillas, prawns, paella and much more. There are also a wide selection of desserts and ice creams.
